21 Mil PET Safety Film for Glass – Hurricane & Anti-Shatter Protection
XTTF 21 Mil Safety Film is an ultra-thick, multi-layer PET (polyester) security film designed to deliver bullet-resistant–level protection. With a rare 21 mil (≈0.53 mm) construction based on new safety film technology, it upgrades ordinary glass into a high-impact safety glazing, making it suitable for high-risk and even conflict-affected regions that require extreme glass security while still keeping clear visibility.
The film is built from multiple high-tensile PET layers laminated together and coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive. Under impact, the PET layers stretch and absorb energy instead of letting the glass explode inward. If the glass breaks, the adhesive keeps the shards firmly bonded to the film surface, greatly reducing scattering and secondary injuries. This “glass + film” composite structure provides a bullet-resistant level of performance against violent blows, flying debris and attempted forced entry.
