XTTF Transparent Safety Film with UV Protection is a clear, multilayer PET laminate engineered for critical glazing upgrades. Using the same high-strength, impact-resistant polymer widely applied in aerospace, automotive and defense, it forms a robust adhesive bond with the glass surface. On impact, the film’s cohesive layers hold fractured shards in place and help absorb and disperse energy, mitigating hazards from flying debris and improving resistance to penetration during storms, vandalism, shock waves or forced entry—even in civil-unrest scenarios. While enhancing safety, it maintains window transparency and blocks 99% of harmful UV rays to help slow interior fading and photo-aging. Designed for fast retrofit on existing glazing with minimal disruption, it is available in 2/4/8/12/16 MIL so you can match protection to risk level across homes, offices and storefronts.
